Congratulations to Professor Lamia Balafrej who has been appointed the Tomás Harris professorship at UCL. In honor of this appointment, Professor Balafrej will be presenting a lecture series which includes two public lectures and a workshop. The theme of this series is ‘Technical Marvels and the Making of Difference in Medieval Islam’.
This lecture series will be held from March 17-19, 2026.
