Professors Hui-shu Lee and Lothar von Falkenhausen to participate in the 2024 Sammy Yukuan Lee lectures on Chinese Art and Archaeology.

Professor Hui-shu Lee and Professor Lothar von Falkenhausen will be participating in the 2024 Sammy Yukuan Lee Lectures on Chinese Art and Archaeology. This series is the largest annual event of Chinese art and archaeology at UCLA, honoring the life and philanthropy of respected businessman, art collector, and Chinese art authority, Sammy Yukuan Lee. 

On Friday, November 1 in Bunche Hall 10383, Dr. Foong Ping of the Seattle Art Museum will present a talk entitled “Potent Matrix of Buddhist Merit-Making, The rise and fall of imperial calligraphy on clay tablets for the Great Goose Pagoda”. To learn more about this lecture, please click here.
